Managing Director: Demetris Kotsonias, BA (Hons), ACA (ICAEW)

He studied “Accounting with Computing” at the University of Kent at Canterbury in England. Upon university graduation in 1989 he joined a professional contract with a firm of auditors at Central London in England, and through that he got qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the Institute Of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) in 1992.

He returned to Cyprus in 1994, where he firstly joined a local firm as an Audit Manager and subsequently formed his own practise by late 1995. He is a registered practising member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC) and fully accredited Auditor by the Ministry of Finance.

Further to his traditional knowledge and values, as a ‘hard-core’ ‘old-fashioned’ Chartered Accountant, he has unique and in-depth knowledge of International Trade, Shipping and Finance. He is probably one of the few professional people in Cyprus combining expert knowledge in two separate, but never the less inter-connected fields, those of accounting/auditing/tax and shipping/logistics.

He is the Managing Director. He is also acting as the Audit Director, head of the practice’s Audit Department. Beyond his highly competent technical knowledge and experience, he has excellent commercial awareness and communication skills and the ability to provide solid advice on aspects of both technical and commercial environment.
